Working together is central to the experience in Battlefield 6. With teams of up to 32 players, matches can be chaotic, but you can usually count on your teammates for support when you need it. While many familiar features return from past Battlefield games, some players are a little confused about how to heal others.
Okay, so I’m a Support player in *Battlefield 6*, and honestly, healing my team has been kinda confusing lately. They changed some things with the menus and how everything works, and a lot of us are scratching our heads trying to figure out how to actually get those health bars topped off. This guide is going to break down exactly how to heal, and give you some tips for dealing with the trickier parts of keeping everyone alive.
How to Heal as Support in Battlefield 6
The GOLIATH Supply Bag is the main support tool, combining the healing and ammo refill functions of previous games’ Medic and Ammo Bags into a single item. Once deployed, it automatically restores health and ammo to nearby players, but healing will only occur when no one is currently being damaged. The smaller GOLIATH Compact Supply Pouch works in the same way.
The new Squad Supplies trait allows teammates to get health and ammo from Support players. If a teammate isn’t dropping supply bags, you can now take them directly from their packs. Additionally, the Restock Allies ability turns Support players into a mobile supply station for 10 seconds, becoming available after earning enough in-match XP for your current Field Specialization.

Players are confused about healing in the new Battlefield game because, unlike previous versions, you don’t get a clear message telling you when you’ve actually *healed* a teammate – you only see a notification that you’ve resupplied them. While you know you’ve helped, it’s not always clear if health was restored.
You can check if this is working by trying the Support class challenge in *Battlefield 6* that requires you to heal teammates. The challenge counter should increase whenever a teammate picks up a Supply Bag you’ve dropped, or when they take supplies directly from you. If it’s not counting, it could be a problem with your internet connection or a bug in the game.
If you’re playing as Support and a teammate goes down, you can quickly help them get back in the fight. Drop a Supply Bag on top of them to start healing, then use your Defibrillator to revive them with half health. The Supply Bag will finish topping them off.
