In Dungeonborne, players are granted a fair amount of freedom when designing their character. After selecting a class and race, these choices become permanent. However, the convenience lies in the ability to effortlessly create new characters and seamlessly switch between them. Additionally, playing with friends is an option if desired.
Over time as you develop a character in the game, they will gain experience and advance in levels, bestowing permanent advantages that may discourage you from starting anew solely for cosmetic reasons. Fortunately, the game offers the flexibility to modify your character’s appearance at any moment, as well as the ability to remove helmets to showcase their unique features.
How To Change Your Appearance In Dungeonborne
In the game “Dungeonborne,” if you’d like to modify a character’s appearance, navigate to the “Character List” while camping. Instead of creating a new character for an altered look, choose the character whose appearance needs adjustment. Then, click the “Orange square button with a mask icon” located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
In simpler terms, you cannot alter your character’s race, gender, or social status, but you can use the extensive customization feature to modify their appearance as desired. Once satisfied with the changes, find a Mirror of Endless Shapes to confirm the new look. This mirror is obtainable from a dungeon exploration or can be bought for 1,500 Gold after creating a new character.
How To Hide Your Helmet In Dungeonborne
You can find more options to personalize your character’s appearance by visiting the “stash” and clicking on “Appearance” located at the top of the screen instead. Within this tab, players have the ability to add skins to their characters.

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve come to appreciate the finer details that cosmetics bring to the table. But let me tell you, there are moments when even I am left baffled by their inclusion in certain games. Take The Witcher series for instance, a game renowned for its depth and complexity. And yet, amidst all the tactical decision-making and intricate storylines, we have cosmetics that offer no benefits whatsoever.
Regarding the helmet choice, you have the initial option to conceal it. Choose this alternative by clicking “Apply” located at the bottom right of the screen. By selecting this, your helmet will no longer be visible in any menu or throughout the game. However, you can still put on a helmet, but it won’t show up. Kill animations are more extravagant and cannot be bought; instead, they are earned as rewards upon completing Clotho’s Trial.
