In Arknights: Endfield, your Exploration Level is different from both your player level and Operator levels. It doesn’t increase with experience points; instead, you raise it just by playing the main story. Later on, though, things like combat trials might prevent you from increasing your Exploration Level further.
We’ve covered everything you need to know about Exploration Level in Arknights: Endfield, including how to raise it, lower it, and what it does.
What is Exploration Level in Arknights Endfield?
In Arknights: Endfield, your Exploration Level shows how far you’ve progressed in the story and how powerful your team is. It’s similar to features in other games like World Level in Genshin Impact, SOL3 Phase in Wuthering Waves, and Equilibrium Level in Honkai: Star Rail.
Here’s a breakdown of how things change as you raise your World Level in Arknights Endfield:
- Enemy levels are increased
- The level cap of your Operators is increased
- Availability and daily refreshes of rare gatherables and minerals
- Energy Alluvium statuses
- Protocol Spaces
- RE-Crisis Stages
Increasing your Exploration Level offers many advantages, but it’s important to keep your Operators well-trained and equipped. Otherwise, even basic enemies can become challenging. The game helps you prepare for bigger difficulty jumps by offering a trial every three Exploration Levels.
How to Increase Exploration Level in Arknights Endfield
To start, just keep progressing through the main story in Arknights: Endfield to raise your Exploration Level. Once you reach Level 3, you’ll also need to pass a test to prove you’re ready for the next level. That means it’s crucial to focus on developing your strongest characters and teams so you can continue the story and earn better rewards in Arknights: Endfield.
How to Lower Exploration Level
If the game becomes too challenging, even after completing a level, you can easily make it easier. From the main menu, you can lower your Exploration Level once every 24 hours – just look for the “Exploration Level” setting above your profile at the bottom of the screen. You can always go back to your highest level, but if you want to lower it again, you’ll need to wait another 24 hours.
Reducing your Exploration Level will also decrease the highest level your Operators can reach. However, any Operators that have already leveled up past that new limit won’t be affected.
