A frequent challenge in Escape From Duckov is managing limited inventory space. As with other extraction games, bringing items back to your base is key to progress. You’ll quickly find your storage filling up with weapons, materials, and loot gathered on missions. Running out of room forces you to discard potentially useful items. Fortunately, Escape from Duckov offers several options to increase both your backpack and warehouse storage capacity.
How to Expand Warehouse Storage in Escape from Duckov
You can increase your warehouse’s storage space by adding Storage Expansions. These permanently boost your total capacity, letting you store more weapons, items, and crafting materials.
To add more storage space, go to your main storage container and use your mouse wheel to cycle through the different menu options. Choose the Storage Expansion tab, and then use the Expansion Upgrade. Upgrading to Storage Expansion Level 1 will give you an extra 35 storage capacity. As you continue to upgrade your storage, you’ll unlock more storage tabs and organization tools.
As a player, I’ve found that upgrading my warehouse costs in-game currency, and the best way I’ve discovered to get that currency is by selling extra items at the vending machines. It’s a pretty simple way to fund those upgrades!
Where To Find Storage Expansion Boxes
You can increase your storage capacity by finding Storage Expansion Boxes, but they’re uncommon. You’ll typically discover them while exploring the game world – check lockers, toolboxes, enemy camps, and loot crates during missions. These boxes come in various sizes, and larger boxes provide more extra storage space when used.
This technique relies a lot on random chance, making it inconsistent, so it’s best not to depend on it completely. Some players have mentioned finding these boxes, but we haven’t come across any ourselves during testing. We’ll add more information to this guide as soon as we find one.
How to Increase Backpack Capacity in Escape from Duckov
As a player, one of the first things I figured out was that how much stuff I could carry on missions depended on my backpack storage. Luckily, once you unlock the Skill Enhancement Machine back at base, you can upgrade it! Just choose the ‘Backpack Expert’ skill, and you’ll be able to carry more. Just be prepared to spend some money and gather the required materials for each upgrade.
You can find backpacks while exploring and collecting items. Using a backpack permanently adds more space to your bag. Wearing body armor also increases how much you can carry. You’ll often get both backpacks and armor by defeating enemies.
