How to Increase Dinosaur Comfort in Jurassic World Evolution 3

In Jurassic World Evolution 3, building a successful dinosaur park means more than just constructing large habitats and drawing in visitors. It’s crucial to ensure your dinosaurs are comfortable and content. Each dinosaur species has unique needs, including how much space they require and the kind of environment they prefer.

In Jurassic World Evolution 3, unhappy or stressed dinosaurs might become aggressive, escape their habitats, or get sick. Keeping your dinosaurs comfortable is essential for a safe, popular, and ultimately successful park.

How to Increase Comfort For Dinosaurs

There are three main things you can do to keep your dinosaurs happy and their comfort levels high.

Change Their Surroundings

To keep your dinosaurs comfortable, start by making their enclosures feel like home. Each species has specific needs – like certain types of terrain, plants, and space – that affect their happiness. You can find these preferences by clicking on a dinosaur and looking at the Comfort tab in its information panel.

Use the Environment tab on the left side of your screen to make adjustments.

When you move your cursor over a dinosaur, you’ll instantly see how comfortable it is. If a dinosaur seems unhappy, you can quickly adjust its surroundings using the Edit Environment feature. To keep your dinosaurs calm, healthy, and happy for visitors, make sure their enclosures closely match their natural habitats.

Let Them Breed

After your dinosaurs have settled into their new environment, you can start breeding them. This is a natural way to grow your park’s dinosaur population and keep the different species socially healthy.

Dinosaurs are healthier and behave more normally if they can reproduce. To breed them, you first need to learn enough about their genetic code to produce both male and female dinosaurs. Then, unlock nesting areas for them. Smaller dinosaurs need basic nests, but larger species require more complex nesting sites.

Give Them Some Friends

Just like people, dinosaurs enjoy having friends! Some dinosaurs need to be around others to feel safe, while others are happier on their own. You can find information about how social a dinosaur is in its info panel under the ‘Social’ section to make sure it’s comfortable.

Dinosaurs are more comfortable and less lonely when kept with other dinosaurs of the same species or with compatible animals.

Okay, so I’ve learned the hard way that you really need to be careful about which dinos you put together. Don’t just throw rivals in the same pen, or things will get messy! And seriously, don’t overcrowd them. Too many dinos in one space just stresses them out and leads to fights. Trust me, you don’t want that happening in your park!
