How to Increase Inventory Size in StarRupture

I’m really into StarRupture, and like a lot of base-building survival games, you’ll be spending a ton of time collecting everything you can to build up your base and, you know, just stay alive. At first, keeping track of your stuff isn’t too bad, but it quickly gets overwhelming as you start getting more complex materials and just… a lot more junk! Luckily, there are ways to get more inventory space in StarRupture, which is a lifesaver. I wanted to share a guide on how to do that, and also how to build extra storage so you can safely stash away the things you don’t need right away.

How to Increase Inventory Size in StarRupture

You’re Going to Need It

In StarRupture, you can expand your inventory by leveling up with different corporations. You do this by completing tasks for them. For instance, reaching level 3 with the Selenian Corporation, as shown in the image, will give you 8 extra spaces to hold items and materials.

Currently, in the early access version of StarRupture, players can unlock four different inventory upgrades. You unlock each one by leveling up with a specific corporation. Here’s a list of the required levels for each corporation’s upgrade:

  • Selenian Corporation – Level 3
  • Future Health Solutions – Level 7
  • Graffits Blue Corporation – Level 8
  • Moon Energy Corporation – Level 11

After finishing a task for a corporation, claim your reward from the Corporate Terminal in your base. Your inventory will automatically upgrade – you won’t need to manually craft or equip anything!

How to Get More Storage Space in StarRupture

It’s smart to always carry essentials like food and water when exploring Arcadia-7. But you can leave some less crucial items behind, especially when venturing outside your base. Still, don’t get rid of all your building materials – you’ll likely need them later to expand your base.

If you need more storage, prioritize building a good relationship with Clever Robotics. One of their rewards is a Personal Storage container with 18 slots, and you can place multiple containers in your habitat for even more space. They also offer other storage upgrades as you level up, making them a great company to work with alongside your other corporate partners.
