The new game, *Skate*, reimagines the popular series with a focus on San Van, a vibrant city built for skateboarding. Players can explore the streets and test their skills through various challenges like ‘Own the Spot,’ ‘Session,’ ‘Line,’ and especially difficult ‘Stunt’ challenges.
The Good Luck Stunt in the game Skate is notoriously difficult. It requires players to jump from one building to another, landing on a shattered globe. While there are multiple approaches, mastering the correct technique allows players to successfully complete the stunt, proving it takes more than just chance.
Skate 4 Good Luck Stunt Challenge Guide
How to Shut It Down
Stunt Challenges involve launching yourself and landing in a designated spot. The “Good Luck” Stunt is located in Hedgemont. As a daily challenge, it changes regularly, meaning players can only attempt it every other day. The challenge location appears on the map, and selecting it will instantly transport you to the rooftop where it starts.
To Shut It Down, they must complete all the tasks, which include the following:
- Caveman onto the Rooftop
- Land in the Rooftop Dumpster
- Land in the Garage Dumpster
- Land in the Broken Globe
Players can use the video below to see how to complete the Good Luck Stunt Challenge:
How to Caveman onto the Rooftop in Skate 4

To begin the challenge, players first need to land on the curved roof across the street from the starting building. “Cavemanning” refers to the act of regaining control of your board after a jump. Here’s how to Caveman after jumping from the building:
- PlayStation: Triangle
- Xbox: Y
Because the rooftop is quite distant, players will need to use the “Spread Eagle” technique to reach it. Successfully landing in the marked area completes that section of the challenge.
How to Land in the Rooftop Dumpster in Skate 4

Now you need to land your skateboard inside a dumpster on a rooftop across from the one with the curved roof. The key is to hit the dumpster at the correct angle and land cleanly, without falling off your board – and avoid Caveman!
Don’t hesitate for too long, or you’ll land at a bad angle and fall. Ride along the top of the roof, over the edge-you’ll find a dumpster directly below.
How to Land in the Garage Dumpster in Skate 4

The next part of the challenge requires players to land inside the garage dumpster. They’ll need to start by skating off the curved roof, then continue past the dumpster and drop into the opening that leads down into the parking garage.
Try to land squarely in the hole to avoid bouncing out of the dumpster. Once you’re inside, you can continue with the next part of the trick.
How to Land in the Broken Globe in Skate 4

The most difficult part of this challenge involves finding a broken globe hidden around two buildings. Players will first need to circle the building with the uniquely curved roof, and then continue around the parking garage near the dumpsters.
After gliding off the curved roof, steer to the left. Perform a Spread Eagle maneuver to fly around the building’s side, and then land inside the shattered globe on the opposite side.

A few players are finding it easier to fly around the building using the curved roof instead of skating off it. However, this method might not give you enough speed to complete the circuit unless you time it perfectly.
Avoid crashing into the building, but if you do, you might bounce into the globe. Successfully landing inside the globe completes the Good Luck Stunt challenge.
