The Bad Dreams Cruller donut is essential for finishing the main story of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC, and you might need to spend time collecting specific items to get it.
Once you receive the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 mission, head to Hotel Z and speak with Ansha to start baking. With the mission active, you’ll see a new option – select “I’d like to try that Cruller recipe” to begin making the crullers.
To choose the right ingredients for the donut, you need to make sure each of the five flavor profiles – spicy, sweet, sour, bitter, and fresh – registers a noticeable signal, indicated by a red bar.
Okay, so if I’m trying to pick the perfect ingredient, this is what I’ve learned: when it comes down to the final choice, I need to look for a berry that scores well in both ‘Bitter’ and ‘Fresh’ categories. That seems like the key to getting it just right!
