Okay, so making the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut is a bit tricky. You need eight Hyper Berries, but it’s not just any eight – you gotta get the right ones to actually make it work!
It’s best to hold onto your Hyper Berries until you’ve unlocked all the special recipes, because certain Pokémon require specific items to summon. Also, you can only challenge and catch Rayquaza after finishing the main story of the Mega Dimension DLC.
Here’s how to make a Delta Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is needed to encounter Rayquaza.
- 4x Hyper Colbur Berry
- 2x Hyper Haban Berry
- 1x Hyper Roseli Berry
- 1x Hyper Chilan Berry
Okay, so if I’m running low on Hyper Berries, I need to jump back into any of the Hyperspace Dimensions. The key is to smash those floating Pokéballs – especially the golden ones! Those usually pop up after I’ve finished all the tasks in that specific area, so I know I’m on the right track.

After you’ve made the donut, go to the rooftop of Hotel Z and find Korrina. Getting there is simple – just take the elevator inside the hotel and choose the roof. If you’ve just finished crafting the donut, it’s a very short walk.
Korrina asks you to give Hoopa a Delta Old-Fashioned Donut, which creates a portal allowing you to battle and catch Mega Rayquaza.
