The Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A brings back many familiar Pokémon, like Groudon. To battle this Hoenn Legendary Pokémon, you’ll need to craft an item called the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut.
Making donuts is a central feature of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC. Similar to how sandwiches worked in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, these donuts offer different benefits, like increasing your chances of catching Pokémon and finding Shiny Pokémon.
To defeat Primal Groudon, you’ll need a specific donut, and TopMob has the recipe for making the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut.
How to Make The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Making an Omega Old-Fashioned Donut needs eight Hyper Berries. Also, you can only start the Groudon side quest after finishing the main story.
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC, you’ll need specific donuts at certain points, so it’s best to save your Hyper Berries to make those. Don’t waste them on crafting donuts you’ll just use for exploring. Once you have all the special donuts you need, you can then start making more general ones.
The ingredients to make the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut in the Mega Dimension DLC are shown below.
- 1x Hyper Colbur Berry
- 1x Hyper Haban Berry
- 1x Hyper Kasib Berry
- 1x Hyper Coba Berry
- 1x Hyper Tanga Berry
- 1x Hyper Rindo Berry
- 2x Hyper Yache Berry
Okay, so if I’m running low on berries, I know what to do! I just need to jump into any Hyperspace Dimension portal and start smashing those floating Pokéballs. Once I’ve finished all the main stuff in that area, I should really focus on hitting the Golden Pokéballs – those are the key to getting more!
How to Use The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut is a special item that, when used in the right location, will open a portal leading straight to Primal Groudon.
After you’ve made it, head to Jaune Sector 11 to start the side mission, “A Ruby-Red Legend.” The closest fast travel point is Cage Bataille in Wild Zone 6, and it’s a quick walk from where you’ll find Korrina.
As you get close to the portal, Korrina will ask you to give Hoopa an Omega Old-Fashioned Donut. After you do that, go inside and begin battling the Legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region.
