As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating the treacherous lands of Enshrouded, I can confidently say that Wood Acid has become my new best friend. This humble material may not look like much, but it’s proven to be a lifesaver more times than I’d care to count.
There’s always going to be some sort of demand for materials in Enshrouded, and given how dangerous exploration in this game can be, players will want to make sure that they have healing items at the ready. Consumables made from Wood Acid are decent alternatives to traditional food items and potions, and players should consider stocking up on them in case they run dry on other resources.
Wood Acid might not be as readily accessible as some other materials such as Nitrate or Shroud Spores, but fret not! Here’s a simplified guide to help you find Wood Acid in larger quantities.
How Do You Get Wood Acid in Enshrouded?
To create Wood Acid, a special material, you will gain its recipe upon crafting Charcoal for the first time. To start, you’ll require a Charcoal Kiln, which can be built once you have freed the Blacksmith in Enshrouded. Fortunately, the Blacksmith is one of the earliest NPCs to unlock, so obtaining the necessary items for Wood Acid should be relatively quick.
To construct a Charcoal Kiln, you’ll require 20 Stones. After gathering the necessary resources, go ahead and assemble the kiln on an appropriate location. Interact with it, then look for the ‘Explore Recipes‘ button located on the right side of your screen. It takes 15 Wood Logs and 3 Dirt to produce 10 Wood Acid, so ensure you have enough materials if you’re considering large-scale production.
It takes seven whole minutes for one batch of Wood Acid to finish crafting. If you want to craft a lot of it, we suggest making another Charcoal Kiln.
Building a Charcoal Kiln involves having a chat with the Blacksmith. After conversing with him, choose the Crafting option. Once you successfully craft a Charcoal Kiln, it will be added to your personal collection.
What Is Wood Acid For?
You might find it useful to have a good supply of Wood Acid on hand, as it’s typically used in the creation of items that can heal or serve practical purposes.
- Antiseptic
- Flare Arrow
- Heal Channel Spell
- Nitrate
- Purified Slime
- Shroud Survival Flask
- Tin Bars
- White Glowing Substance
To traverse the veiled regions in the game Enshrouded for extended periods without meeting an untimely demise, players will find it essential to possess Shroud Survival Flasks. Moreover, antiseptics are crucial for creating curative items such as Cleaned Bandages and Wound Ointments. These two items should be enough incentive for players to always carry some Wood Acid with them, particularly support-oriented mages who desire to utilize the Heal Channel and Eternal Chain Heal spells effectively.
