In the game Where Winds Meet, “The Last Pilgrim” is a quest you’ll find in the Hexi region. During this quest, the Wanderer helps a monk who’s running into difficulties during his travels.

This straightforward quest sends you exploring the Hexi region around Jade Gate Pass. Completing it will earn you the unique ‘Heart Begets All’ cosmetic item. We’ll guide you through each step to get started and finish the quest.

How To Start The Last Pilgrim

So, I was just wandering around, heading north from the Camel Station, and this quest actually just started on its own! I just had to walk up to this monk and chat with him, and boom, ‘The Last Pilgrim’ questline began. It’s pretty cool how it just triggered as I explored!

The Last Pilgrim Encounter Walkthrough

Once you’ve talked to the monk, advance the game clock by one full day. Then, find him south of Camel Station – he’s been robbed by bandits and needs your help.

Head south, following the tracks, and use Wind Sense to stay on course. You can either use Celestial Sieze to get the monk’s belongings, or fight and defeat the bandits, then search near the monk’s white horse to find them. Once you have the items, bring them back to the monk.

After waiting a full day within the game, head northeast of Horsehelm Village to find a monk. Collect three dry branches from the tree close by, listen to the conversation between the monk and his brother, then start the campfire and speak with the monk.

The next day, locate the monk who’s traveling between Wraithbridge Pass and the boundary of Whitecrown City. Offer him some water, and then follow him as he enters the city.

If you’re still working on the Grand Protector of Anxi, run around the outside of the arena to find the monk without fighting. Then, talk to the monk to complete the quest.
