How To Mega Evolve Meowstic in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension

Mega Meowstic is a powerful new Mega Evolution available in the Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC. Don’t underestimate this Psychic-type Pokemon – it’s surprisingly strong despite its delicate look!

While catching Meowstic isn’t difficult, obtaining the Meowsticite – the item needed to Mega Evolve it – can be. This guide covers everything you need to know about this powerful Mega Evolution, including where to find the Mega Stone, its stats, the best moves to teach it, and ideal Natures.

How To Get Mega Meowstic in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

In Pokemon Legends Z-A, you can unlock Mega Evolution by finishing the main story quest, “Hyperspace Lumiose Survey Nº3” from the Mega Dimension DLC. After that, wait for a call from Corbeau to the Rust Syndicate to continue.

He’ll tell players where to find the Third Rogue Mega Evolution, which is causing trouble in Hyperspace Lumiose. Make sure you bake a +40 Level Donut at Ansha’s shop and get ready for a challenging battle.

We strongly suggest having a Tyranitarite so you can Mega Evolve your Tyranitar for this battle. Dark Pulse and Crunch are both effective moves to use.

Rogue Mega Meowstic is a tough opponent, known for its strong Psybeam and Psyshock attacks. But the most frustrating move it uses is Empowered Mega Reflect. This creates a barrier of bright light, letting Mega Meowstic build up a powerful Psychic attack that could defeat you in one hit, so you need to be cautious.

Find the glowing square on the barrier – that’s its weak point – and attack it with all your power. Once through, interrupt Mega Meowstic’s charging attack by hitting it with a move it’s weak against.

After defeating Meowstic, you’ll get the Meowsticite, which is the item needed to Mega Evolve it into Mega Meowstic. You can also catch a male Meowstic and receive Hyperspace Berries from the Golden Poke Ball.

Is Mega Meowstic Any Good In PvP/PvE?

Mega Meowstic is a strong Psychic-type Pokémon. Its base stats total 566, which is above average, and its stats are distributed in a unique way. It’s a quick special attacker that gets a significant boost to its Speed, Special Defense, and Special Attack.

Like most special attackers, Meowstic works best with either a Modest nature (boosting Special Attack and lowering Attack) or a Timid nature (boosting Speed and lowering Attack). To maximize its potential, focus its Effort Values (EVs) like this: 252 in Special Attack, 4 in Defense, and 252 in Speed.

Mega Meowstic is a strong choice for PvP battles. It excels with moves like Psybeam, Reflect, Light Screen, and Calm Mind, allowing it to consistently attack from a distance while also providing defensive support for its team.

If you want a really strong attacker, I’ve been having a lot of success with Psychic, Calm Mind, Psyshock, and Dark Pulse. Dark Pulse is especially helpful for taking down Ghost-types like Mega Gengar and Mega Sableye, which can be tough!

As a fan, I have to say Mega Meowstic is just amazing in PvE battles! It’s a total game-changer as either a super smart support Pokémon or a really quick special attacker. Seriously, its usefulness is huge, especially when you’re up against those really tough Mega Pokémon like Mega Lucario and Mega Blaziken, or even those crazy powerful Fighting-types you find in the Hyperspace Wild Zones. Those guys are relentless, and Mega Meowstic is a fantastic counter to them – it really helps you turn the tide!
