A major highlight of the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the addition of Mega Raichu X and Y. Players can unlock these Mega Evolutions fairly early on in the downloadable content, but they’ll need to meet a few requirements first.

Where To Find Raichu Mega Stones In Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

In Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, players need to complete two side quests in Lumiose City to get the Mega Stone for Raichu’s Mega Evolution. First, they’ll complete ‘A Use for an Evolution Stone‘, a fairly early quest where you trade a Pikachu for a Heracross. Then, they’ll finish ‘Side Mission 108: Alola, Raichu!‘ which requires trading a Raichu from the Paldea region for an Alolan Raichu.

Okay, so after you unlock those first two Side Missions, you’ll need to push a bit further into the Mega Dimension DLC to get to the Tier-2 Rifts – the 2-Star ones. Basically, you gotta finish the first Hyperdimension Survey for Corbeau, then head back to the Rust Syndicate and chat with him again. That’s how you unlock them!

Next, you’ll need to finish the first Mega Evolution Rift and defeat Rogue Mega Absol Z. After that, you’ll return to Hotel Z to speak with the team. Following a short conversation with Lebanne and Gwynn, you can explore additional rifts and begin your second survey mission.

Two-Star Rifts are now appearing throughout the map. Look for a rift with a distortion labeled ‘Unknown Side Mission Detected! Unidentified Mega Stone Detected!’ – this indicates a Hyperdimension Lumiose incursion containing a Side Quest.

Look near the distortion rift to find the two characters who swapped a Pikachu and a Raichu, as described in the side quests. You’ll easily spot them – they’re with two Raichu!

Speak to these trainers to begin Side Mission 139, ‘The Dauntless Raichu Duo’, which involves battling two Raichu that have Mega Evolved. If you win, you’ll get both the Raichunite X and Raichunite Z. Using either of these Mega Stones on a Raichu will allow it to Mega Evolve into one of two new forms.

To access this Side Mission and get the Mega Stones, players must own the Mega Dimension DLC and have the latest version of Pokemon Legends Z-A. Also, Pokemon that have Mega Stones cannot be traded, meaning the only way to get them is by buying the DLC.
