Righteous Jaspers are useful items in Nioh 3 that connect to the game’s online features. They also provide a steady stream of materials and resources. While they can be tricky to find, once you learn where to get them, you’ll be well-stocked. This guide covers everything you need to know about Righteous Jaspers in Nioh 3: where to find them, how to use them, and why they’re worth collecting.
Where to Find Righteous Jaspers in Nioh 3
The easiest way to get Righteous Jaspers is to buy them directly from the Sudama merchant near the Hamamatsu Castle Town (East) Shrine. They cost 700 Gold each, and the merchant typically has 9 available. You’ll find this merchant right at the entrance to the Crucible, and they’ll remain there even after you defeat the first major boss in Nioh 3.
You can find Righteous Jaspers by collecting them in the world or as rewards from defeating enemies. Completing side missions is also a great way to earn them, which will help you advance in the game more quickly and easily.
You might receive Righteous Jaspers by making offerings at Jizo statues, especially if you donate a significant amount.
What are Righteous Jaspers For?
Righteous Jaspers let you place Benevolent Graves, which act like signals to summon helpful spirits. This is part of the co-op system in Nioh 3, but there’s a catch: Benevolent Graves only summon a non-player character (NPC) version of the player who originally placed the grave.
To use a Righteous Jasper, open your inventory and go to the ‘Usable Items’ section. Then, use the jasper to create a Benevolent Grave with a phantom that looks like you.
But Why, Though?
If your phantom assists someone on their journey, it will bring back helpful items for you, like Ochoko Cups.
You can collect your Benevolent Grave rewards by visiting any Shrine. Choose the “Preparation” option, then select “Boons” to automatically receive anything your ghost friend has earned.
More importantly, your phantom warriors will also earn you Glory in Nioh 3. You can then spend this Glory on helpful bonuses at the Hidden Teahouse within the Eternal Rift.
