Ubisoft unveiled all details about Rainbow Six Siege X. During a special event, they announced a brief, exclusive Closed Beta testing period. If you’re interested in participating, here are the details about when it starts, what time it begins, and instructions on how to join.
Rainbow Six Siege X is the logical follow-up to the successful 2015 game, Rainbow Six Siege. Over the years, it has made a significant impact in esports and continues to receive content updates. However, all good things eventually conclude. On February 16, Siege X was announced, promising a showcase soon. The presentation left us awestruck and disclosed the initial Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta.
Again, it’s closed, not open, so you must jump through hoops to play.
How to Access Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta
Players using PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC via Ubisoft Connect are eligible for the Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta. To get access, you should keep an eye on carefully chosen, sponsored Rainbow Six Siege X streams on Twitch, as watching them will grant you a Closed Beta Twitch drop.

Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta Start Date & End Date
The Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta officially begins on March 13 and ends on March 19, so it’s currently underway!
Immediately after the conclusion of the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase, the Siege X Closed Beta commenced. For a week from that point, you can participate in the Closed Beta. After this week, there might be a considerable gap before Ubisoft starts the next stage of testing for Siege X.
Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta Start Times & End Times
The Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta will commence at 12 PM Pacific Time, 3 PM Eastern Time, 8 PM Central Time, and 7 PM Greenwich Mean Time on March 16th. It will conclude at the same times on March 19th.
The event lasts for a full week, with specific start and end times. I suggest you aim to play as many matches as you can since we’re uncertain about when the next opportunity will arise.
What’s in the Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta?
The first Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta is focused on testing the new Dual Front game mode.
One of Siege X’s standout characteristics is the Dual Front feature. Unlike conventional Rainbow Six games, this mode offers a 6-versus-6 team setup. This means that each team can field both Attackers and Defenders. Additionally, players in this game are given more frequent respawn opportunities compared to traditional R6 gameplay.
