To create a team of three and add new players, start at the camp first. On the bottom right side of your screen, next to your player ID, you’ll find two empty boxes with a “+” symbol. Click on these to open a new window. Here, you can browse through users who are currently online for potential teammates. Since the game is on Steam, you can also add friends who have downloaded “Dungeonborne” from there.
With Dungeonborne, you have the flexibility to see which players are currently online, though this feature can be disabled for those seeking tranquility and avoiding unwanted friend requests. Utilizing the “Find My Team” function enables users to discover other players, regardless of prior dungeon experiences, and extend an invitation to collaborate. Upon acceptance, the invited player’s avatar will appear at the camp. However, only the team leader has the authority to organize the dungeon and initiate a run.
On the “Friend Finder” section, the player’s profile will showcase their ID, class type, and current level. From my perspective as an avid fan, In essence, you can absolutely play Dungeonborne solo, but let me tell you, you’ll find yourself at a significant disadvantage whenever you venture into a dungeon. Sadly, there isn’t an offline option for this game. Consequently, each time you enter a dungeon, you’ll encounter other online players who are also on the hunt for precious treasures and powerful monsters to level up and collect loot. If things turn sour between you and them, it won’t take long before numbers rule the day.
As a gamer in Dungeonborne, I find it easy and convenient to invite friends or team up with new players to form a group of three for longer gaming sessions. The game caters to both beginners and competitive players with its two modes: Adventure and Competitive. However, no matter the mode, there will always be some players intent on disrupting the fun by creating hostile encounters. With the potential rewards at stake, these conflicts are an inevitable part of each adventure in Dungeonborne>.
