How to Play Zombies Split-Screen in Black Ops 6

As a seasoned zombie slayer and couch co-op enthusiast, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the split-screen feature in Black Ops 6 Zombies! After countless hours of solo missions that left me questioning my sanity, it’s refreshing to know that I can now share the terror with a friend.

In the upcoming installment of Call of Duty: Zombies, Liberty Falls and Terminus mark a new stage in the storyline. The exciting part is that you don’t have to tackle this adventure alone or with others online; instead, you can enjoy a split-screen experience on your couch as two players take on Black Ops Cold War Zombies!

Instead of comfort, I find some of the frightening new elements in Black Ops 6 Zombies this year keep me awake at night. However, a feature long awaited by dedicated Zombies fans is the ability to play Zombies together on the same screen, and thankfully, Black Ops 6 has granted that wish.

Working alongside each other, you both can experience the struggle of locating Ray Guns, and jointly strive to unlock the Liberty Falls Vault.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Split-Screen Explained

To enjoy Black Ops 6 Zombies on a split screen, navigate to the Zombies main menu using one controller, then sign in with another controller and a separate user account, hit the ‘join’ button, and you’re good to go for some co-op Zombie action!

Be cautious when selecting your teammate, Black Ops 6 Zombies is no laughing matter. Enemies can rapidly amass, overpowering you, surrounding you, and transforming your environment into a gruesome, meaty mess.

  1. Load up Black Ops 6.
  2. Choose the “Zombies” portion of the package.
  3. On the main lobby screen, grab another controller (connect it if needed) and turn it on.
  4. Sign in with a profile—it can’t be a guest profile, it needs to be a fully-fledged user account.
  5. If you haven’t already, make sure the player has an Activision account and log into it too.
  6. When this is all done, press X on PlayStation (or the applicable button or key on your format).
  7. Doing so should make the second player’s name appear in the top-right corner under player one.
  8. Now, choose “Select Mission.”
  9. Select a “Standard” match.
  10. Finally, make sure to “Play in a Squad.”

If everything goes according to plan, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a shared screen experience with Zombies. This cooperative play could take place in locations like Liberty Falls, Terminus, or potentially any new maps that Activision has planned for future updates as part of their ongoing content strategy.
