In Arknights Endfield, establishing a reliable power supply is essential for expanding your factory. The game provides guidance when you begin in Valley IV, but as you progress to Wuling and beyond, you’ll need to manage power on your own.
Providing power to the Wuling AIC in Endfield presents a challenge: you won’t have direct access to the raw materials used to create batteries for your main factory in the Valley. This means you’ll need to find a different source of power. Luckily, Endfield includes a system for transferring materials between bases, which can help. However, if you prefer not to use that system, or it’s unavailable, there are still other options to explore.
How to Power the Wuling Base in Arknights Endfield
When it comes to juicing up your Wuling AIC, you have three options:
- Power Thermal Banks with Originium ore
- Use Metastorage Transfer to receive excess batteries from Valley IV
- Create a Xiranite Battery production line
Originium Power
While not the most effective, using Originium Ore is the simplest way to power your factory in Endfield. You can find plenty of ore deposits in the areas around Wuling City and Qingbo Stockade, which is enough to keep your factory running for standard tasks.
You can use Originium Ore to generate power by building Thermal Banks close to your base’s core. Then, choose Originium Ore as the output for your core and connect it to the Thermal Banks. Each Thermal Bank supplied with Originium Ore will slightly increase your base’s total power capacity. While not as effective as standard batteries in Valley IV, it’s still a helpful option.
Regional Resource Transfer (Metastorage)
In Endfield, the Metastorage Transfer feature unlocks at Development Level 12 for each region. Before you can send batteries from Valley IV to Wuling, you need to max out Valley IV’s Development Level first. This means completing Outpost quests, upgrading buildings like Recycling Stations, and setting up mining rigs to gather resources.
After upgrading Valley IV to level 12, you can use Metastorage Transfer to send batteries to your Wuling AIC depot. Keep in mind that transfers only happen at the top of each hour, and there’s a limit to how many batteries you can send at once. This isn’t a reliable long-term solution, so it’s best to reserve it for urgent situations.
Xiranite Battery Production
Making your own Wuling Batteries is the most reliable way to keep your Endfield Wuling factory powered, though it takes the most effort and money. To get started, you’ll need enough power to run a Xiranite production line and a couple of Dense Originium Powder chains.
Before you can build a Xiranite power plant, you’ll first need to expand your Wuling AIC core area. To do this, you’ll need Wuling Stock Bills. You can earn money by either setting up a small production line to craft and sell items, or by completing observation commissions through the Regional Development screen.
