How to Reach Recycling & Reclamation Key in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, players will explore deeper into the Playtime Factory, beginning with the Recycling and Reclamation area. After escaping Huggy Wuggy, you’ll encounter smaller enemies called Wrongside Outimals. To progress, you’ll need to find a key located across a series of hallways, but first, you’ll need a flashlight to protect yourself from the Outimals.

How to Reach the Recycling & Reclamation Key in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

Once you’ve used the lights to create a safe path past the dangerous Outimals, you’ll reach the Recycling & Reclamation office. To begin your journey to the key on the other side of the glass, first flip the red lever on the right to activate the lights.

After turning on the lights, face around and use the colorful wooden board to climb in through the window into the room on the right. Inside, be sure to pull the lever that has a red light on it before going through the door on the right. This will scare away the wild Outimals, letting you pass through safely.

After entering the second room, you’ll need to do the same and enter the third room.

The way to the light switch in the third room is blocked by wild Outimals. Luckily, you can use the wooden board across the conveyor belt to get to the other side, flip the switch, and move on to the next room.

Continue through the next two rooms just like before—turn on the lights and keep moving forward—until you reach a room with a crushing machine.

First, activate the crusher by pulling the red lever and pressing the button. Then, approach the crusher and grab the star from the moving belt – this is how you’ll obtain the Glowby, which is a flashlight, in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5. After that, simply return to the room where you started.

Use Glowby’s flashlight to check out any rooms that were previously blocked by wild Outimals.

When you get back to the main room, walk across the hallway and go through the door in the center. Keep your flashlight on while you’re in the hallway to avoid being attacked by the wild Outimals.

Continue down the hallway until you reach a larger area with stairs and a small office. Inside the office, you’ll find the Recycling and Reclamation key in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5. This key will unlock the main door in this area, allowing you to continue the story.
