How to Settle On Other Islands in Anno 117: Pax Romana
The city players start with will be crucial for building their empire, but they shouldn’t stay put. In Anno 117: Pax Romana, exploring the seas and finding new islands to settle will be key. These islands offer access to different resources and the chance to follow new religions.
In Sandbox mode, players can establish settlements on new islands by sailing a boat to an unclaimed island and building a trading post. When your boat gets close, a blueprint for the trading post will appear, showing you the construction cost.
Larger islands cost players more land tax each minute and have higher fees for building a trading post. To establish a new city on an island, players need to click the ‘Build Trading Post’ button to confirm.
Should You Settle on Cudslip or Cragmore?
Sandbox mode lets players immediately build cities on new islands. In Story Mode, you’ll need to finish Act III first. Act IV teaches you how to expand to other islands and colonize them freely, giving you a choice between settling on Cudslip or Cragmore.
