How To Shoot Hats Off Enemy’s Heads
Enemies may not always sport hats, but if they do, you can eliminate that accessory without harming them. You’re only permitted to possess one unique hat at a time, so gathering multiple identical hats would be unnecessary and potentially jeopardize the mission. To dislodge a hat from an enemy’s head, you must either fire at the hat itself or aim for a headshot.
- Getting headshots only offers a chance the hat is dropped, and has the chance of destroying the hat in that mission.
- Some hats are easier to shoot off than others based on their size compared to the enemy’s head.
A more effective approach could be to aim for the enemy’s head and merely knock off their helmet, which may not cause significant damage but increases the chance of the helmet falling. This is particularly suitable for a unit that has a line-of-sight advantage, like a sniper. Once the helmet drops, you’ll need to step on it to pick it up, and then complete the mission.
Can You Lose Hats In Steamworld Heist 2
Players are free to change and wear any hats (without limitations except during a mission) until they get shot off. If your bot’s hat gets destroyed, it falls to the ground but can be retrieved later. Unlike other hats, your personal hats remain in your inventory even when you complete a mission and return.
