As a dedicated fan of college football and a seasoned player of sports simulations, I have grown fond of EA Sports College Football 25 for its authentic representation of the collegiate level experience. The game offers an immersive football simulation that allows me to manage every aspect of my team, from coaching and recruitment to balancing academics and athletic training.

With EA Sports College Football 25, take the reins of your preferred college football team and aim for the coveted national championship title, a feat not achieved in over a decade. This game delivers an authentic football experience, enabling you to manage every aspect of collegiate life – from coaching and recruitment to juggling academics and athletic training.

As a devoted fan of College Football 25, I’ve come to appreciate the thrill of crafting an unbeatable offensive gameplan. Yet, I’ve noticed some players growing disconnected during defensive plays. The reason being, when on defense, the player you manage may not directly influence the outcome, making it feel like surrendering first downs is out of your control.

How To Simulate Defense in College Football 25

For those who aren’t avid fans of American football or sports games like “EA Sports College Football 25,” they might not find defense as engaging as offense. With numerous offense strategies available, the player you manage may not be involved in the action before the quarterback hands off the ball. Fortunately, if you’re eager to move past defensive sequences and resume control over offensive plays, you can simulate defensive possessions until it’s your turn again.

To mimic defending, players should press the left stick on the play selection screen during breaks between plays. This action opens the Super Sim menu where you can choose various alternatives such as simulating the entire game, going straight to pivotal scenes, or controlling just the offense or defense. In order to exclusively manage the offense while the defense is automated, players must access the Play Options menu and pick “Play All Offense.” During these defensive possessions, the game will simulate them, and you’ll be brought back in once your team regains possession of the ball. If you decide otherwise, there’s an opportunity to cancel this every time a defensive possession finishes.

While you’re focusing on your team’s defense during simulation, understand that they might give up some points when you’re not engaged.
