A highlight of *Ghost of Yotei* is the sheer amount of optional content, which can sometimes make players lose track of the main storyline. Throughout Atsu’s adventure, she’ll discover many collectibles and interesting locations, but the Mountain Reliquaries stand out as particularly challenging puzzles.
You can discover these items in most areas of the game, and the last one becomes available as you progress. This guide will show you where to find the Reliquary of Faith and how to solve its puzzle in Ghost of Yotei.
How to Find the Reliquary of Faith in Ghost of Yotei
You’ll find the Reliquary of Faith in the Oshima Coast Region. Unlike the other areas, which are open after the tutorial, reaching Oshima Coast requires significant progress. You need to finish the Kitsune, Saito, and Oni questlines, then find the Dragon and the Spider. Completing these tasks will trigger a main story mission that takes you to the final region.
Once the mission is complete and you’re free to explore, go down the hill and immediately look to your left for a path going upwards. This is where you’ll need to get off your horse and continue on foot to find the Reliquary of Faith puzzle.
How to Solve the Reliquary of Faith in Ghost of Yotei
In this puzzle, you’ll find four statues, but you can only activate three of them. It’s a fairly simple relic puzzle, and doesn’t require much effort. The inscription on the altar says:
The boy-made man crafted blessings of his own
So others born under Mountain Yotei
Will look to the true mountain for strength
This is a simple fix, and it shouldn’t be difficult. However, if something goes wrong, you can always create a manual save in the settings and quickly reload. Here are the steps:
- Start by turning the middle statue once
- Turn the right statue once
- Turn the middle statue twice
You’ve solved the puzzle! The reward depends on which puzzle this was, but since it’s one of the last, and you’ve likely finished the others, you’ll receive the Yotei’s Blessing Dye and fully upgrade your Charm of Mount Yotei.
Players will receive the “Child of the Mountain” trophy after finding and finishing all of the Mountain Reliquaries.
