The Arboria Castle Strongbox in Crimson Desert is a tricky puzzle, but unfortunately, the rewards aren’t very good. We’ll explain our reasoning below. However, if you’re still curious, we’ve also included the puzzle solution and what you’ll find inside.
You’ll find Arboria Castle north of Hernand and Demeniss. Inside the castle is a puzzle box that you need to solve by listening to the clicks of each cylinder. We’ve included a step-by-step guide below to help you through it.
How to Solve the Arboria Castle Strongbox in Crimson Desert
- The goal of the Arboria Castle Strongbox is to make it so that all 5 cylinders are at the same height level in the middle.
- To do so, you’ll need to interact with each Rotating Board and press Down on the D-Pad to lower them until you hear a certain number of corresponding clicks (so turn your volume up):
- 1st Rotating Board – Turn 3 times (6 total clicks)
- 2nd Rotating Board – Turn 4 times (8 total clicks)
- 3rd Rotating Board – Turn 5 times (10 total clicks)
- 4th Rotating Board – Turn 4 times (8 total clicks)
- 5th Rotating Board Turn 2 times (4 total clicks)
- After interacting with all 5 Rotating Boards, use the Right Stick and look to the Strongbox Component on the right.
- Interact with the Strongbox Component to turn it to the right. This will align all the strongbox cylinders to the middle, but if it doesn’t, then simply view which ones are too high and continue to lower them and re-check.
- Once you’ve aligned them, interact with the Strongbox Component to open the Strongbox.
- You can now grab the item that sits inside.
What’s Inside the Arboria Castle Strongbox?
- Unfortunately, the Arboria Castle Stronbox is not worth doing at all.
- You will obtain the Equipment Manual, which can be read from the inventory, and is entirely pointless.
- This is because it’s for the “Restarting the Elixir Factory” Faction Quest, which we have a guide for that you can find above.
