The Reliquary of Strength in Ghost of Yotei challenges players to turn wheels and find the hidden treasure of the mountain. However, Atsu can’t simply solve it through trial and error. Where to Find the Reliquary of Strength in Ghost of Yotei
The Reliquary of Strength is situated in the Ishikari Plain (shown in the image above). You’ll find it on the mountain peak slightly to the left of the landmark called “Ishikari Fork”. When you get close to the Reliquary, you need to talk to the NPC located there to have them move, allowing you to start the puzzle. The puzzle begins by reading the riddle inscribed on the plaque:
The mountain raised the boy as her own
Demons looked away from them in fear
But the wolf watched them both, ready to provide aid
This riddle is the sole clue players get to solve the puzzle. However, if they pay close attention, they’ll notice the most important detail: The demons looked away. You can find the complete solution further down!
How to Solve the Reliquary of Strength Puzzle in Ghost of Yotei
To solve this puzzle, you need to rotate each of the wheels until the 3 demon masks are turned away from the shrine. Keep in mind that turning one wheel also affects the others, so you’ll have to move them in a particular sequence to get everything lined up correctly and finish the puzzle. - Interact with the front left statue once
- Interact with the back left statue twice
- Interact with the front left statue once
- Interact with the front right statue twice
Finishing the Reliquary of Strength gives you the Charm of Mount Yotei. This charm slightly lowers the amount of damage you receive. If you’ve already completed one of these Reliquary puzzles, the Charm will be upgraded.
