How to Solve the Riverbank Treasure House in RE Village

Resident Evil Village has a lot of hidden treasures, and one of the hardest to find is in the Riverbank Treasure House. It’s not guarded by enemies, but by a tricky puzzle that requires some thinking to figure out.

Man, RE Village has some tricky puzzles! I was totally stuck on the Riverbank Treasure House, but thankfully, I found the solution right here. It really helped me open those doors!

How to Get to the Riverbank Treasure House in Resident Evil Village

To reach the Riverbank Treasure House in Resident Evil Village, you’ll first need to defeat Moreau in the Reservoir. Once you’ve done that, you can head back to the Village surface using the Crank you found during the game.

Go to the Altar and take the west path to the Lone Road. There, you’ll find steps leading down to a drawbridge that you can now open with the Crank. A boat waits on the other side, so sail north through the Mountain Stream and dock. If you take the east path, you’ll discover the Riverbank Treasure House.

How to Solve the Riverbank Treasure House Puzzle in Resident Evil Village

When you enter the Riverbank Treasure House, you’ll see one lit brazier and two that aren’t lit. To proceed, shoot the lit brazier with any weapon to make it swing and light the other two. Once all three braziers are lit, both doors will open.

  • The left room has 5,000 Lei
  • The right room has a respawning enemy, who you’ll need for the next step.

Move into the next room and stand with your back to the unlit brazier. When the slow-moving enemy approaches, shoot the lit brazier in the center to make it swing and set him on fire. While he’s burning, lead him towards the unlit brazier – this will open the final door.

Inside, you will find the Golden Lady Statue, which can be sold for 20,000 Lei!
