How to Solve the Secret Bunker Puzzle in REANIMAL

REANIMAL’s story about two siblings is generally easy to follow. However, things get tricky when the group discovers a hidden bunker and isn’t sure what to do next.

In Chapter 6, ‘Nobody Left Behind,’ you’ll return to the beach where you started after escaping the wrecked convoy. Once there, you’ll need to solve a simple puzzle related to the island’s large cannon.

This guide will show you how to solve the secret bunker puzzle, and also quickly explain how to find a hidden collectible you can get from the same puzzle by using a different code.

How to Get the Secret Bunker Trophy

When you go inside the bunker, your first step is to get the power back on and connect to the computer terminal. To do this, go out the door on the right and have your teammate help you start the generator.

Go back inside, and you should now be able to use the machine with its four parts. Before you continue with the main puzzle, let’s enter a code to unlock a hidden collectible poster – you’ll need it if you’re aiming for the Platinum Trophy or 100% completion of the game.

  • From left to right, the lit-up nodes need to correspond to the following combination:

    • Middle > Bottom > Bottom > Middle

  • Fun fact: You can discover this combination very early on in the game via Chapter 1: Dead in the Water. The code is inscribed on a crate in the room where you find the Clam Head mask, as shown in the image above.

After entering the code, pull the lever on the right side to turn the machine on. If you do it right, you’ll instantly get the Secret Bunker Trophy! Also, don’t forget to take the poster from the terminal on the left – it’s a collectible!

How to Solve the Secret Bunker Puzzle

Solving the puzzle and moving forward in the game is actually quite easy. You’ll just need one more code to enter into the machine, and it’s fairly easy to spot where to find it.

Look for the binoculars near the window and use them to carefully scan the edges of Cannon Island for a crate. The crate will have a code written on it, but be aware that this code seems to be different for each player, so yours might not be the same as what others have found.

After entering the combination again, use the binoculars to find an ammo drop on Cannon Island. Your next step is to go to the island and use the supplies to defeat the sea monster. Completing this will finish the Secret Bunker part of REANIMAL.
