The popular Trick or Treat event is returning to Disney Dreamlight Valley from October 15th to November 1st, 2025. During the event, players can gather candy in the Plaza and use it to finish special, limited-time quests and earn unique rewards. A new challenge involves unlocking the Haunted Well by solving a Trick or Treat puzzle.

How To Solve The Trick Or Treat Puzzle In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Trick or Treat puzzle in Dreamville, you’ll need to find the Haunted Well located in the Forest of Valor and offer it 15 Green Candies, 10 Red Candies, and 5 Purple Candies. Begin in the Plaza and look for a red chest – opening it will reveal a memory containing the puzzle. Nearby, you’ll find a math problem and a small green tree; these serve as clues to help you locate the Forest of Valor.

When you’re in the forest, find the Haunted Well and offer it the right amount of candy to unlock it as a furniture item. If you’re stuck on the puzzle, here’s the solution to the Trick or Treat math puzzle in DDV:

G + G + G = 45

G + R + R = 35

G – P = R

The Value Of Green Candy

  • G + G + G = 45
  • 3G = 45
  • G = 45/3
  • G = 15

The Value Of Red Candy

  • G + R + R = 35

How To Unlock The Haunted Well In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley

I was so excited when I found out how to get the Haunted Well in *Disney Dreamlight Valley*! All I had to do was offer it a green, red, and purple candy, and it just appeared! But get this – after that, I saw it for sale in Scrooge McDuck’s store too, so if I ever need another one, I can just buy it with Star Coins. It’s awesome!

If you put a well anywhere in the valley and activate it, a group of ravens will start flying around it, creating a spooky and atmospheric decoration – perfect for Halloween or any time you want a haunting touch.

Green, red, and purple candies are only available in The Plaza, and they always appear in buckets. You can find two buckets of each color every day throughout the entire Trick-Or-Treat event. Even if you start the event late, you’ll still have a chance to collect them – on the last day, buckets will appear more frequently, about every couple of hours.
