How to Speed Up Time in InZOI

Krafton’s game, InZOI, offers a highly realistic digital version of everyday life. In this virtual world, you can craft authentic characters called Zois, design and personalize their homes, establish families, migrate to various cities, embark on professions, and engage in numerous activities the game allows.

In the game InZOI, you have the ability to manipulate the passage of time according to your strategy and preferred playstyle. This in-game feature enables you to adjust the length of a day, making it move faster or slower at your command. If you’re curious about how to control the speed of time within InZOI, this guide will walk you through the process.

How to Change Day Length in InZOI

It’s great that the game provides ample flexibility in customizing the duration of a day within InZOI. What’s more, fine-tuning these settings is less complex compared to other aspects like character creation, making it less of a challenge for you.

In the game InZOI, adjusting the day length can be done by navigating to the Simulation settings section and selecting your preferred option within the Day Length area. Currently, as the game is in early access, you’ll find only four time slots to choose from. This might expand after the full release, but for now, the available options are:

  • 48 minutes
  • 90 minutes
  • 4 hour
  • 24 hour

In the virtual world of InZOI, a standard day typically lasts for 90 minutes, offering ample time to manage your character’s daily tasks and attend to their needs, desires, and skill development. If you’re aiming to advance your characters more swiftly, consider shortening the day to 48 minutes instead. This faster pace can also expedite workdays, allowing for earlier earnings and increased resources for purchasing items and constructing your home. Conversely, if you wish to fully explore the map and engage in various activities without your character aging rapidly, you might prefer a full 24-hour day.

How to Make Your Zois Live Longer in InZOI

In the game, each Zoi undergoes a distinct lifecycle, where they age and eventually perish according to the days designated within the game. For instance, a Young Adult maintains that stage for 21 to 30 in-game days before evolving into an Adult. Similarly, a Middle-Aged Zoi remains in this phase for 51 to 65 days prior to becoming a Senior, who then lives for 66 to 100 days before expiring. If you prefer your Zois to linger in a life stage longer and have more time to interact with them (or prevent them from aging too rapidly), you can adjust the day length to either 4 or 24 real-time hours.

A friendly reminder: altering the duration of a day within the game may affect its perceived speed, but it won’t extend the total lifespan of Zois.
