Early in Metroid Prime 4, within the area known as Fury Green, players will encounter special platforms that require a unique ability to access collectibles. These “Psychic Platforms” can only be activated by Samus using the Psychic Boots power-up.
In this guide, we’ll explain to you how to get Psychic Boots and how they work in Metroid Prime 4.
Metroid Prime 4: How to Get Psychic Boots
Hop on the Psychic Platforms
You’ll need to finish the Volt Forge area completely before you can explore the Psychic Platforms in the Fury Green section of Metroid Prime 4.
In the electric-themed dungeon, Samus needs to activate two generators for the towers. Successfully doing so will unlock her new, sleek motorbike – and just like that, it’s done!
Once you restore power to both towers, you’ll automatically advance to the final stage of Volt Forge, where you’ll face the boss, Xelios. Defeating Xelios will reward you with the Psychic Boots.
The Psychic Boots let Samus stand on special platforms and also give her a double jump to reach higher areas. To double jump, simply press the B or L button while in the air. You don’t need to manually equip the boots – they work automatically.
