Since its launch, Cult of the Lamb has received several updates, but the Woolhaven DLC is its most substantial addition yet. This new DLC is comparable in size to the original game, offering players many more hours of cult management and adventure-filled crusades.
This downloadable content adds a new area and quests to the game, but unlike previous updates, it doesn’t automatically install. This guide will show you how to begin the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb.
How To Start The Woolhaven DLC In Cult Of The Lamb
To unlock the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb, you need to defeat the four Bishops and then give four specific items to the Yngya statue. You don’t have to finish the main game by beating The One Who Waits first.
Once you go back to the cult’s location, you’ll find Yngya’s statue to your right, close to the teleporter. Activate the statue and offer the necessary items. Keep in mind that even if you provide the items beforehand, you won’t be able to unlock Woolhaven until you’ve defeated all four Bishops.
The Lamb must prepare these items as offerings:
| Items | Where to Find |
|---|---|
| 5 Menticide Mushrooms |
|
| 5 Crystals |
|
| 5 Spider Silk |
|
| 1 Sin |
|
The ‘Sin’ mechanic was added to Cult of the Lamb on January 16, 2024. If you haven’t played since before then, you might need to unlock it in your game.
Once you’ve given the Crystals, you’ll meet Gofernon. He can upgrade your Cult headquarters, but it costs Gold Bars. There are three upgrades available: the first costs 10 Gold Bars, the second 18, and the third 30. To fully upgrade your HQ, you’ll need a total of 58 Gold Bars.
Players will gain access to a new area nearly the size of the original headquarters, and a new follower that looks like Gofernon.
Before you begin the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb, the game will let you know that once you start it, your save file will only work if the DLC is installed. Don’t worry though – the game automatically backs up your original save file, which you can access from the main menu. That means if you decide the Woolhaven DLC isn’t for you, you can always go back to your previous progress.
