Ghost of Yotei features 14 different weapons, and each one excels in certain areas while struggling in others. Players will unlock five weapons naturally as they progress through the story. However, to obtain the remaining nine, they’ll need to either find and learn from unique senseis or buy them from merchants who travel the land.
While you can finish the game without finding extra weapons, it’s worth getting all the melee weapons. Weapon alignment is important in Ghost of Yotei and makes fighting much simpler. Also, there are several Trophies to earn if you collect every weapon.
