In StarRupture, you’ll find a lot of different things to craft. However, you won’t have access to everything right away. Whether it’s basic items or complicated materials, you’ll need to unlock recipes by meeting certain requirements – sometimes by finding blueprints, and other times by completing quests.

How to Unlock Recipes in StarRupture

To unlock new recipes in StarRupture, you’ll need to build a special station called the ‘Recipe Station’. You can do this once you reach Level 2 with the Moon Energy Corporation. Just open the building interface (by pressing ‘B’), then find ‘Stations’ in the menu and build it there.

After unlocking this Station, players can access a menu showing all their unlocked Crafting Stations. This allows them to easily check which recipes are available at each one, like the Smelter, Fabricator, and Furnace.

Players can unlock new crafting recipes by collecting specific materials and Data Points. It’s a good idea to start with simple recipes like Wolfram and Titanium Sheets, as these are needed to make more complex items. You can also unlock recipes for consumables and food by giving Plants and other materials to the Recipe Station.

Many items need Blueprints to be unlocked, and these can be found in Blue Chests hidden throughout the Abandoned Settlements scattered across Arcadia-7. Be careful when exploring these settlements – they’re dangerous due to large numbers of creatures and frequent, unpredictable Rupture events.

To fight the Vermin, players can unlock powerful weapons and create plenty of ammunition. Some of the Abandoned Settlements are in highly dangerous, irradiated areas, so you’ll need to unlock protective gear before exploring them.

Some recipes might be currently unavailable because certain areas of Arcadia-7 aren’t accessible yet. Keep in mind that StarRupture is still in Early Access, so more content, including recipes, will likely be added over time.

Some of the more complex recipes may require players to finish certain tasks beforehand, such as unlocking specific crafting stations. As we discussed earlier, each station has its own recipe menu, and these advanced stations often need a large number of materials – some of which might even come from crafting stations of a lower level.

It’s best to unlock all the options at the beginning stations before moving on to more complex recipes. Otherwise, you might get stuck if the advanced recipes need things you haven’t unlocked yet.
