As a huge fan of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, I’m really excited about how much depth there is in the combat! You get to play as four different characters, and each one has six unique weapons you can unlock and upgrade. You earn skill points as you play, and you use those to make your weapons even better – boosting stats, adding slots for materia, and getting passive abilities. Plus, each weapon has special moves you can learn and keep forever if you use it enough. And if you like fast-paced action, Tifa is amazing – she’s a martial artist and seriously quick in a fight!
When playing as Tifa, using her special ‘Unbridled Strength’ ability builds up her Chi level. This unique system lets her perform stronger combos. She typically starts fights at Chi level one, but upgrading her weapon with the ‘Concentration’ ability gives her a chance to begin at level two. There are three Chi levels in total, each unlocking a new martial technique: Whirling Uppercut (level one), Omnistrike (level two), and Rise and Fall (level three).
Here’s a handy guide on how to find every Tifa weapon in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.
