Initially, Energy Clips in ARC Raiders weren’t very popular. They only recharged a few Legendary weapons, and those weapons weren’t widely used. But when players discovered they could sell Energy Clips for a lot of in-game currency, interest surged, and many began searching for a way to craft them.
Good news! You can make Energy Clips yourself, and it’s not too difficult to craft a lot of them at once. If you don’t see the option to craft them in your Workbench, you just need to unlock the blueprint first. This guide will cover everything you need to know about getting and crafting these valuable Energy ammunition rounds in ARC Raiders.
Energy Clips Explained
In ARC Raiders, Energy Clips are a rare type of ammunition used to fully power up powerful Legendary weapons such as the Jupiter and Equalizer. While each stack can hold five rounds, you only need one to completely fill a weapon’s magazine, regardless of its size.
Okay, so Energy Clips are pretty hard to find in Topside – they’re not just lying around everywhere. But don’t worry, I’ve figured out a few ways to make them or get my hands on them, and I’ll share those with you now.
How to Craft Energy Clips
You’ll need to find and learn the Equalizer blueprint at your Workbench to start making Energy Clips. Once you unlock this special weapon, the recipe for Energy Clips will automatically appear in the Workbench in ARC Raiders.
Making five Energy Clips needs two Batteries and one Advanced ARC Powercell. Luckily, both of these items are pretty easy to find while playing in the Dam Battlegrounds area of ARC Raiders.
How to Get Energy Clip Blueprint
Image via Embark Studios Energy Clips don’t have a dedicated recipe. Right now, the only way to get them is by obtaining the Equalizer blueprint. While some players believe learning the Jupiter blueprint will also unlock them, that’s incorrect. Energy Clips are unlocked exclusively with the Equalizer blueprint, not Jupiter.
How to Farm Energy Clip Materials
This table details the most efficient methods for obtaining Batteries and Advanced ARC Powercells, which are needed to craft Energy Clips.
| Resource | How to Get |
|---|---|
| Batteries |
|
| Advanced ARC Powercell | Kill the following enemies: Leaper, Rocketeer, Bastion, Bombardier, Surveyor, Sentinel, or Queen |
If you’re looking to collect Advanced ARC Powercells in ARC Raiders, Sentinels are your best bet. They’re much easier to defeat than other powerful enemies.
How to Get Energy Clips without Crafting
Okay, so you don’t actually need the Equalizer blueprint to snag Energy Clips. I’ve found the best way to farm them is by doing the Harvester events in ARC Raiders. They pop up for a limited time, and honestly, these events are packed with Energy Clips. It’s a really reliable way to stock up!
Energy Clips are becoming more popular to collect, so you might have trouble finding them in the Harvester, particularly if other players have already taken them all.
Best Way to Use Energy Clips
Image via Embark Studios A glitch in ARC Raiders is letting players earn a lot of coins quickly. By crafting and selling Energy Clips, you can make around 5,000 coins for a full stack or 1,000 coins per individual round. It’s currently the fastest way to earn money in the game.
If you don’t mind spending the resources, Energy Clips are the way to go. Weapons such as the Equalizer are great for quickly defeating shielded enemies, making them top choices for player-versus-environment combat. Stocking up on Energy Clips – either by crafting them or finding them – will help you defeat tougher enemies more easily and get more Epic and Legendary items.
As a big fan of ARC Raiders, I’ve found that making and selling Energy Clips is a really effective way to earn the coins you need to unlock those permanent Expedition skill points. It’s honestly the best method I’ve discovered for quickly building up my coin stash!
