Balatro’s numerous Jokers can either disrupt your game by confusing your strategy, or they could be a blessing in disguise. For instance, if Brainstorm appears in the store, I always purchase it – quite ironically, it’s an instant decision for me.

How to Get Brainstorm Joker in Baltro

You need to discard a Royal Flush hand in Balatro to automatically unlock Brainstorm.

One side indicates that a Royal Flush is the most advantageous hand in Poker, which makes it somewhat challenging. Conversely, using a Random Number Generator (RNG) or card manipulation could help you draw a Royal Flush more swiftly than expected.

Initially, a Royal Flush refers to holding a 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace all in the same suit within your hand. Essentially, it means having the five most valuable cards belonging to a single suit. In a standard deck of 52 cards, achieving this is quite challenging due to its rarity.

1. Study the game mechanics carefully to gain a deep understanding of its nuances.

  • Focus on Tarot cards:
    • The Lovers turns one card into a Wild Card.
    • Strength increases the rank of up to 2 selected cards by 1.
    • The Hanged Man destroys two cards (get rid of other cards to give you more chance of pulling the five cards you need).
    • Death lets you change one card into another, so you can turn a 2 of Spades into a Queen of Hearts, for example.
    • The Star, The Moon, The Sun, and The World turn three cards of your choosing into the applicable suit of the Tarot card.

Blending Jokers harmoniously with cards that boast high multiplier values, especially those marked as ‘+mult’ and ‘xmult’, is a fantastic strategy. If you could miraculously make the Blueprint Joker replicate Brainstorm, it would trigger an unbelievable sequence of Jokers, each reinforcing the other, resulting in a devastatingly powerful hand setup that we yearn for!
