In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, it may require some persistent play to acquire new characters. Most of them are locked and can be purchased from the in-game store. To enhance your character proficiency, you should engage in the game’s story mode, custom mode, online player vs player mode, and other available game modes. Simultaneously, you’ll need to amass Zeni, the game’s currency, to purchase these unlocked characters.

Levelling Up and Earning Zeni

Previously discussed, progression to higher levels is crucial, and once you hit level 20, every character in the shop becomes accessible for purchase. You can increase your level by participating in all game types, but Episode Battle offers the most benefits. In this specific mode, upon completing each mission, players receive a generous amount of Zeni and new characters as the narrative unfolds.

Yet, if you own the Ultimate Edition or the Deluxe Edition, you are given some wishes at the start of the game. Put simply, you can unlock certain characters by making a wish after gathering the necessary Dragon Balls or purchasing them.
