The V1 Armor is a brand new and popular addition to Palworld, released with the Home Sweet Home update as part of a collaboration with ULTRAKILL. It’s based on the V1 machine from ULTRAKILL, but it’s more than just a cool cosmetic item. The V1 Armor introduces a special gameplay feature that makes it stand out from other powerful late-game armor in Palworld, and its ability to heal itself automatically makes it especially valuable. This guide will show you how to unlock, craft, and find the rare Legendary version of the V1 Armor.
How to Craft V1 Armor in Palworld

You can make the basic V1 Armor after unlocking it in the Technology Tree. You’ll need to be at least Level 32 to unlock it.
To craft the normal version of V1 Armor, you’ll need the following materials:
| Materials | How to Get |
|---|---|
| High Quality Pal Oil x15 | You can get this material by defeating high-level Pals. It’s a relatively rare item, so you’ll have to farm stronger enemies. |
| Ingot x30 | Ingots can be crafted at your base using raw metal ore. It can be commonly mined throughout the world. |
After you’ve learned the recipe for the V1 Armor in the Technology section and collected the necessary resources, you can build it at any of these workstations:
- Production Assembly Line
- Production Assembly Line II
- Advanced Civilization Workshop
After crafting, the armor is immediately usable.
Where to Get Legendary V1 Armor in Palworld
As a film buff who loves a good power-up, I’ve found that if you’re after a really strong starting setup without all the crafting, you can just buy the Legendary V1 Armor straight from the Medal Merchant. Just be prepared to shell out 780 Dog Coins for each schematic.
Palworld V1 Armor Stats and Effects
Here are the base stats for the standard V1 Armor:
- Defense: 51
- HP: 806
- Cold Resistance: Level 1
- Heat Resistance: Level 1
- Passive Effect: Blood is Fuel
- Weight: 30
- Durability: 1450
The V1 Armor has a helpful ability called Blood is Fuel, which gives you a little bit of health back every time you damage an enemy. If you like to play aggressively, battle tough bosses, or participate in extended fights where staying alive is key, the V1 Armor is a great investment, even later in the game. Plus, it’s cheaper to repair than many other armor sets in Palworld, making it a cost-effective choice.
