How to Unlock Pauline and Ninji in Super Mario Party Jamboree

As a seasoned Mario Party fan, I’ve been through countless iterations of this beloved series, and I must say, the Super Mario Party Jamboree has certainly kept up with the tradition. The inclusion of secret characters like Pauline and Ninji adds a delightful twist to the gameplay experience.

In Super Mario Party Jamboree, there are a total of 22 characters available to play with. But once you pick your character for the first time, you’ll find that two character profiles on the far right are initially hidden or unavailable.

Initially, two out of the 22 playable characters in Mario Party Jamboree are not accessible at the start. Specifically, these two hidden characters are Pauline and Ninji. To discover how to make them available, continue reading this tutorial. Remarkably, you don’t need to invest a great deal of gameplay time to include them in your Mario party.

In the game ‘Super Mario Party Jambree’, the techniques to unlock Pauline and Ninji are quite alike, though we’ll discuss Pauline first.

  • Speak to the Yellow Toad in Party Plaza to go into the Hot Air Balloon.
  • Instead of choosing the Mario Party board or other locations, you need to actually search for Pauline on this “world map.”
  • Move with the R button to the right side of the boards. Look to the left of Minigame Bay; you should see an island in the distance with Pauline standing on it. Use the X button to zoom into her and press A once you’re close enough.
  • You can now play as Pauline in Super Mario Party Jamboree.
  • You will also get new items in stock for the Card Shop back at the Plaza.

You can locate Ninji in much the same manner, but he’s chillin’ on a larger rock that’s situated to the left of Rhythm Kitchen (right if you’re facing the main Board selection area). There are two rocks almost touching each other, and Ninji will be perched on the taller one towards the left side.

Unlocking him will also grant you new items to purchase at the Card Shop back at the Plaza.

It appears that you can access these two Mario characters without having to advance significantly in the game. You don’t have to achieve a perfect score or anything similar for that matter.
