As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Super Mario Party Jamboree has been a delightful addition to my gaming library. The sheer variety of characters from across the Mario franchise is simply astounding, providing countless hours of fun and excitement.
One great thing about Super Mario Party Jamboree is the huge cast of characters you can play from across the Mario franchise. With over 20 characters to pick from, there’s oodles of variety to enjoy.
If you’re seeking additional characters, you may find two of them – Pauline and Ninji – initially unavailable when you start the game. Yet, completing Kamek’s Party-Planner Trek or achieving enough milestones to fill the Rewards tracker doesn’t seem to grant access to these characters!
It turns out that adding Pauline and Ninji to your team is simpler than expected! (Indeed, it seems easier than achieving certain other feats…) Here’s a straightforward guide on how to bring these exciting characters into your lineup.
Using The Hot-Air Balloon Camera
In this scenario, both Pauline and Ninji can be discovered using the camera function while you’re on a hot-air balloon ride. This allows for closer inspection of details as you choose your preferred game mode.
The Hot-Air Balloon’s camera isn’t pointed out by either Kamek or Toad, but you can utilize it for the first time when you start playing.
Once you step away from Party Plaza, feel free to rotate your view using the control stick. To get a closer look at something, simply press the ‘X’ button, and if you want to zoom out, just use the ‘B’ button instead.
Besides exploring the intricacies of the island, you’re able to snap photos of characters and moments when you get up close and personal. As you track down Pauline and Ninji during our “treasure hunt”, they will be added to your party!
As a thrill-seeker, I’m diving into a scavenger hunt with no less than 30 captivating challenges! Every time I hop aboard the magical Hot-Air Balloon, I could stumble upon up to three of these enigmas. To keep tabs on my progress, I’ll be sure to stop by the Data House along the way!
Pauline’s Location
Among the iconic characters from the Mario series, Pauline stands out as a classic bombshell who has made contemporary appearances (in certain games) and is now set to make her debut stage performance in Jamboree. To locate her, move to the right side of the Mario Party island.
Pauline is on an island with a red and white umbrella, between Mario Party and Minigame Bay.
If she’s not immediately visible, search for a shimmering glow. When you locate it, get closer and snap a photo to initiate Toad’s conversation and access Pauline.
Ninji’s Location
Despite being long established, Ninji is most famously recognized nowadays due to his portrayal as an adversary in the captivating “Super Mario Wonder”. Much like Pauline, you’ll encounter him by locating a Hot-Air Balloon.
Beginning at Mario Party island, move to the left side, and you’ll find Ninji perched on a lush column close to the Rhythm Kitchen area.
Again, use the ‘X’ button to get closer as needed, then snap a shot. After that, Toad will greet your latest addition to the Mario Party!
