How to Unlock Roguelike Mode In One BTN Bosses

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating through labyrinthine levels and battling hordes of enemies, I must say that One BTN Bosses has truly captured my attention. The unique arena design, the thrill of dodging attacks on a single path, and the intrigue of the roguelike mode have all combined to create an addictive gaming experience.

In this distinctive indie title called “One BTN Bosses,” the gameplay sets it apart from typical bullet hell games through its innovative arena layout. Unlike conventional designs featuring expansive rooms or screen-filling arenas, players navigate along a singular path. This game provides a few alternative movement options to dodge attacks, keeping gameplay engaging and challenging.

The game offers two distinct playstyles: campaign and roguelike, but it’s the roguelike style that offers more enjoyment. Unfortunately, when you initially launch the game, the roguelike mode is unavailable. To unlock it, players must first fulfill specific conditions, after which they can explore the game without limits.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, diving into the roguelike mode of this game is an absolute blast, way more than the main campaign! You get to pick your own setup, and then it’s off to the races. The game randomly determines the attacks the enemy will unleash on each floor, with a total of 5 floors in the mode.

On each level, you’ll initially face just one type of enemy attack. However, as you advance, additional attack types are added. Essentially, every floor you conquer in your journey provides discoveries that benefit your next run from the very start. This means that even if a run fails, it contributes to a larger objective. In this way, the game is simple to begin but challenging to master.

Every time I vanquish an adversary, I’m presented with a selection of intriguing “discoveries” – essentially, the power-ups you’d usually find in a roguelike game. However, it’s crucial to note that there’s no healing between fights. So, I have to tread carefully and avoid taking any unnecessary hits during each skirmish.
