The heart of the gameplay revolves around enhancing your kingdom and extending its boundaries as much as possible. However, safeguarding your kingdom from approaching greed and destruction is just as crucial to your mission.
As you advance in the game, you’ll find it necessary to enhance your town center so you can hire knights capable of assaulting Greed’s portals. Yet, beyond a particular stage, you won’t be able to improve it further without acquiring stone. Stone Technology represents the next phase in unifying the lands under a single ruler.
How to Unlock Stone Upgrades in Kingdom Two Crowns
In this game, certain structures can’t be improved any further until the players discover how to use stone technology. For instance, walls and archer towers remain at tier two, and the town center doesn’t surpass level 5. To acquire these upgrades, players must find stone, a crucial resource hidden on the second island.
As a passionate player, here’s my adventure: To advance, I must journey to the second island, seek out the stone mine hidden there, and energize it using 10 coins. This structure resembles an obelisk made of stone, and once activated, it grants me the unlocked stone technology, opening up new features that were previously inaccessible.
- Town Center Tier 6 – Castle Keep
- Squires: Used to launch attacks against Greed
- Catapult: Used to defend the borders of your kingdom
- Higher Tiers Archer Tower & Walls
Leaving the second island without triggering the stone mine means you’ll have to come back later to acquire stone-related tech. Skipping straight to copper technology isn’t an option if you’re moving forward from here.
How to Get to the Second Island
To move to the second island in the game, players should look for a damaged shipwreck on the initial island. This wreckage will require 10 coins to be repaired, but you’ll receive the necessary ship parts from the game at no extra cost once the repair is complete. After the workers have finished constructing the ship, simply pay an additional 2 coins to launch it into the water, allowing you to sail to the second island.
Once the boat is in the water, workers will shove it towards the shore so players can embark on another aquatic journey to discover hidden islands. Following the conclusion of the scene, simply press any arrow key to access the map and choose the second island as your destination. The vessel will inevitably crash-land on this new location, granting you freedom to explore and construct. If you wish to return to the initial island or travel to a different one, all you need to do is rebuild the ship and start the process anew.
