To quickly travel near your house in Crimson Desert, you need to activate the Abyss Nexus. You’ll find the Abyss Transporter, which activates it, inside Karin Quarry. However, reaching the Transporter requires completing parts of the main Crimson Desert questline to learn the Focused Force Palm ability, and you’ll also need a Kuku Pot. This might take some time, especially if you explored Hernand earlier, but once you have everything, activating the Nexus is easy.
Crimson Desert Thinker’s Meadow Abyss Nexus Unlock
The Abyss Nexus is located in Thinker’s Meadow, near the cliff edge on the far right side of the house. It’s hidden behind some bushes and trees, and covered with thorny roots. To reveal it, simply burn away the roots using Blinding Flash and Focus Light, or any other source of fire. This will clear the roots and expose the empty Abyss Nexus.
Grab a Kuku Pot
You can get a Kuku Pot by finishing a side quest at the Kilnden Workshop during Chapter 4. This pot lets you store bigger items, and you’ll need it to carry the Abyss Transporter back to Thinker’s Meadow. Just complete the ‘Kiln Repair’ quest to get your first one. Alternatively, any backpack with extra storage space will also work.
Where to Get an Abyss Transporter in Crimson Desert
A Teleporter to the Abyss is hidden under Karin Quarry, which is northeast of Hernand. You can unlock it by finishing the ‘Stolen Quarry’ quest. Completing this quest will remove the bandits and allow you to use the large crane near the ruins in the quarry’s center.
After removing the large stone blocking the entrance to the ruins, jump down inside to reach an underground chamber. Walk forward until you see a Bismuth wall on your left. Hold down the Focused Force Palm button until a leaf symbol lines up with the golden orb behind the wall. Release the button to break the orb. This will cause the Bismuth wall to disappear, revealing a room containing an Abyss Transporter. Use Axiom Force to pick up the transporter, and then press the Seal button (located in the bottom-right corner of your screen) to store it in your Kuku Pot.
How to Restore the Thinker’s Meadow Fast Travel Point
Okay, so I headed back to the Abyss Nexus in Thinker’s Meadow. Then I opened up my inventory and found my Kuku Pot. I hovered my mouse over it and opened the pot itself. Inside, I found the Abyss Transporter and just hit the discard button. That made the transporter pop out, and I was able to grab it again using Axiom Force. Easy peasy!
Take the transporter and carefully position it over the open space in the Abyss Nexus. Use Force Palm to push it firmly into place. If that doesn’t work, jump onto the transporter itself, then use Aerial Force Palm. Once the Nexus is fixed, stand in the center and wait for it to light up.
