On December 14th, vedinad launched the Spooky update for Megabonk. This update included a themed map that players had been asking for since the game became popular in September.
This guide explains how to unlock the Graveyard map in the game. You’ll need to play as the character Calcium and defeat a challenging boss, which you can find on another map within Megabonk.
How to Unlock the Graveyard Map in Megabonk
To unlock the third map in Megabonk, players need to play as the character Calcium and defeat the Undead Boss in Desert Tier 2. New players will first need to complete some quests within Megabonk to unlock both Calcium and access to Desert Tier 2.
- Kill 1,000 Skeletons to unlock Calcium
- Complete Forest Tier 1 -tounlock CL4NK
- Complete Forest Tier 2 as CL4NK to unlock the Desert map
- Complete Desert Tier 1 to unlock Desert Tier 2
How to Find the Undead Boss in Megabonk
How to Summon and Defeat the Undead Boss in Desert 2
In Megabonk, players can find the Undead Boss and unlock the Graveyard map by starting a Desert Tier 2 run and searching for a grave within that level.
If players discover the grave before they’re ready to face its challenge, it’ll stay on their map as a white skull, showing there’s a boss battle there. They can easily find it again by following the white arrow on their map.
To begin a battle, players need to click the ‘Disturb Grave’ button. They’ll first encounter a weak ghost. After defeating it, a new grave will appear, and they’ll need to disturb that one too, which starts a fight with a tougher ghost. Players must defeat a series of these ghosts before they can challenge the Undead Boss.

Once you’ve defeated the tougher mini-bosses, you’ll need to locate the golden statue of Calcium’s Dad – a powerful skeleton. If you haven’t increased the game’s Difficulty setting during your Megabonk run, Calcium’s Dad will have around 35,400 health when you first encounter him on the map.
Calcium’s Dad attacks by summoning rocks from the ground and firing a powerful red laser. Players need to dodge these attacks to prevent health loss, but with Calcium’s speed – he’s one of the fastest characters in Megabonk – it shouldn’t be overly challenging.
After players beat Calcium’s dad, a chest will appear, unlocking the Graveyard map.
