How to Start the Pharloom’s Crest Quest

To begin the game called “Pharloom’s Crest,” also known as “Silksong,” players need to overcome the challenge posed by the Cogwork Dancers, which reside high up in the Choral Chambers located within the Citadel.

Once defeated, the room’s setting will rotate, unveiling three ancient statues that task Hornet with retrieving and performing the three parts of the Threefold Melody within the Citadel. In Silksong, players need to accomplish this mission in order to progress to the final showdown and subsequently unlock Act 3.

How to Get the Architect’s Melody in Silksong

Search the mechanized core of the Citadel for the melody of the Architects.

Where to Get the Conductor’s Melody in Silksong

Search the gilded heights of the Citadel for the melody of the Conductors.

In simpler terms,

The tune from the Conductor can be heard echoing in the grand halls up high. However, getting there isn’t straightforward; you need to climb using the Clawline, which is hanging above a bench, all the way in the top-left corner of the Choral Chambers.

Moving forward with your Clawline, navigate towards the upper-right corner until you find a room adorned with many spikes. To safely reach the lower level of this high chamber, utilize both your Drifter’s Cloak and Clawline together.

Upon descending into the room below, head to your right where you’ll find a bench. After that, move to your left to discover a shortcut leading back to the Choral Chambers, and proceed further to the left from there.

In this tough battle, you’ll face a sequence of ten waves filled with adversaries. Within these waves, two instances will feature mini-bosses. The last wave will put you against Hornet and two other opponents at the same time, so make sure to plan ahead by gathering helpful items and enhancing your Needle’s damage before you begin.

Once you’ve passed through all the ripples, proceed to the left and have a chat with Conductor Ballador. He’ll instruct Hornet on the Conductor’s Tune.

Where to Get the Vaultkeeper’s Melody in Silksong

Search the cloistered wing of the Citadel for the melody of the Vaultkeepers.

The tune of the Vaultkeeper calls for a few tasks from the players. Firstly, players need to traverse a large portion of the Whispering Vaults to defeat Trobbio and uncover the path to where the Vaultkeeper’s Melody is situated through the Underworks. Secondly, they must find Vaultkeeper Cardinius, who happens to be the only insect capable of playing the Vaultkeeper’s cylinder for Hornet to learn from it.

Navigate to Trobbio, conquer the final foe, afterward choose the door at the bottom-right corner of The Stage. Descend into The Underworks, advance towards the upper-right corner utilizing your Clawline and abilities to keep climbing.

After some time, you’ll once again step into the Whispering Vaults and spot a bench. To locate a Sacred Cylinder, simply move to the left side of the bench.

Once you’ve grabbed it, make your way back to Vaultkeeper Cardinius to spin the Sacred Cylinder on his turntable. Accompany this with the sound of the Needolin, and Hornet should pick up the Vaultkeeper’s Tune.
