How To Unlock & Use Metastorage Transfer In Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, players earn experience points by developing a region, which increases its Development Level. Raising this level unlocks new features, motivating players to thoroughly explore each area.

Players can unlock a feature called Metastorage once their Endministrators reach Development Level 12. Here’s a guide to understanding what Metastorage is in Arknights: Endfield and how to effectively use it.

Metastorage In Arknights Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, Metastorage becomes available when a region reaches Development Level 12. This lets you send items to a different region without removing them from where they originally were.

Once you’ve progressed to Development Level 12 in Valley IV, you’ll be able to send items to Wuling using Metastorage.

If you then decide to transfer Originium, it will appear in Wuling’s storage without being removed from Valley IV. This is essentially a free bonus for fully developing a region. You can even transfer resources you haven’t collected yet, if you wish.

In the first version of the game, Wuling maxes out at development level 6, preventing you from using Metastorage transfers. Standard Stockpile transfers also aren’t possible from Wuling in the initial release of Endfield.

How To Use Metastorage Transfer In Arknights Endfield

To start sending data with Metastorage in Arknights: Endfield, open the Protocol Management page by selecting the PAC – the main tower in each factory area.

Next, choose Regional Transfer.

To stop items from automatically moving to your Stockpile, tap the Metastorage button first. Then, select where you want them to go instead, such as Wuling.

Next, select the material you’d like to send. You’re allowed to send items you don’t currently possess, meaning you can always send the largest amount possible.

Each transfer takes about an hour, and how much you can send depends on how rare the items are. Common items are worth just 1 point each, meaning with a transfer limit of 1500 points, you could send 1500 of them. Rarer items are worth more points – for example, a Buck Capsule [B] is worth 20 points, so you could only send 75 in a single transfer.

Metastorage transfer has limitations on what it can send. For example, you won’t be able to send Xiranite from Valley IV to Wuling because it’s not a supported item.

Once ready, press Start Transfer.

The Delivery Timer shows you how much time is left until your items arrive at their final destination.

If you select incorrect resources, you can cancel the process, but starting it again will reset the one-hour timer.
