Alternatively, if you’d like to perform a quick melee attack using your currently equipped weapon, tap “V” on the keyboard or “R3/RS” on your controller. If you use the tactical control scheme, the quick melee button swaps to “B/Circle” on your controller.

In a tight spot, this swift assault can be useful when your ammo supply is dwindling or completely depleted and you don’t have a moment to reload before an adversary approaches from around the corner. Additionally, it adds an element of excitement to try and accumulate a specific number of quick melee kills in a single round!

Melee Tips and Tricks

If you intend to play a round with your dedicated melee weapon drawn, remain moving. If you slow down or come to a stop, there’s no chance of winning a fight against a gun-toting opponent. They won’t hesitate to fire; there’s no honor in Call of Duty competitive lobbies!
