How To Warm The Flock In Woolhaven DLC (Cult of the Lamb)

As a big fan of Cult of the Lamb, I’m really intrigued by the Woolhaven DLC. It looks like keeping my little followers alive is going to be a real challenge this time around! The new winter weather is brutal, and I’ll need to figure out how to keep everyone warm, or they’ll stop working and could even freeze to death. So, learning how to warm up my flock in Woolhaven is going to be a top priority!

How To Warm The Flock In Woolhaven DLC

Once you reach Woolhaven, winter will start, and your followers will begin to feel the cold. To keep them warm, you’ll need to construct a Rotburn Furnace.

You unlock the Rotburn Furnace by completing Yngya’s main questline, so focus on that to help the Cult thrive.

Once you’ve constructed the Rotburn Furnace, you’ll need to keep it fueled with Rotburn. If the Rotburn runs out, the furnace will go cold, so always make sure it’s stocked before leaving the camp.

Yngya will later improve the Bonfire Ritual so that the Cult Warmth bonus lasts for a full day. This is really useful if you’re trying to gather Rotburn or can’t consistently manage your flock.

You can also tailor outfits that have the effect that helps warm up your followers.

The Weather Vane lets you predict the start and end of winter, which is useful for preparing your supplies for colder weather.

How To Get Rotburn In Cult Of The Lamb

To get Rotburn in Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven DLC, you can do the following:

  • Destroy Rotburn rocks in a crusade.
  • Choose Rotburn as a reward from a crusade.
  • Sacrifice or harvest Rotten followers.
  • Destroy Rotburn rocks from dying Rotten followers.
  • Consecrate Rotburn by combining Charged Shard and Rocks

Rotten followers don’t last long – usually just a few days – but they don’t use up any supplies. While there are several ways to obtain them, the simplest methods are:

  • Buy them from Helob.
  • Mate a normal follower with a Rotten follower.

How To Unfreeze Frozen Followers In Cult Of The Lamb

As a total cult-management enthusiast, let me tell you, keeping your followers happy and warm is key! If you accidentally let the heat drop and they start freezing, you can build something called a Baptismal Bath to quickly warm everyone up. But be warned, it still costs Charged Shards to run, so you can’t just spam them to avoid managing your resources. Honestly, the best long-term solution involves continuing the main story in the Woolhaven DLC – that unlocks better ways to keep everyone cozy.

The Woolhaven DLC for Cult of the Lamb is expected to be as substantial as the main game, offering many hours of gameplay.
