As a dedicated fan of Hunter x Hunter, I can hardly contain my excitement as we approach the long-awaited resumption of Togashi-sensei’s masterpiece manga. After what felt like an eternity, the series will finally continue on September 4, 2024, with new chapters bringing us further into the Succession Contest Arc and the journey to the Dark Continent.

After a two-year break, Hunter x Hunter manga fans can look forward to the continuation of the story beginning September 4, 2024, as announced by its publisher Shueisha. The anticipation is palpable both online and within the dedicated fan community.

Gon Freecs from Hunter x Hunter is a determined young boy on a quest to become a Hunter in order to locate his father, Ging Freecs, who left him years ago. Filled with enthusiasm, Gon encounters numerous challenges and adversaries during his adventure. Fortunately, he’s not alone; he’s gathered valuable companions such as Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio, who offer their support throughout the journey.

In Japanese, you can read the latest issue of the manga (Volume 38) from September 4th. However, the release date for the English version has yet to be announced. The upcoming volume is anticipated to contain chapters 391 through 400.

As a huge fan, I’m excited to share that the manga will carry on with the Succession Contest Arc. In this storyline, we have the fourteen princes of the Kakin Empire vying for the throne onboard their ship, the Black Whale, as they embark on a journey to the Dark Continent. Personally, I’m hooked, and the addition of Kurapika only makes it better! He’s on a mission to find those responsible for taking his clan’s cherished Scarlet Eyes. Amazingly, he’s hired by Queen Oito Hui Guo Rou for her security detail, all while seeking vengeance for his people.

Hey there fellow gaming enthusiasts! As a die-hard fan of Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga, I’ve been eagerly waiting for updates about the next chapter. Unfortunately, due to some health issues, our beloved mangaka had to take a break from continuing the story. But don’t worry, we’ve still been getting small glimpses of progress on X platform.

Since Gon experienced a traumatic event during the Chimera Ant Arc, we eagerly anticipate learning in Volume 38 whether he’ll fully regain his Nen abilities. Although Volume 37 seemed to focus primarily on Kurapika, it’s unlikely that our main character, Gon, will be overlooked.

Hunter x Hunter can be watched on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Peacock and Crunchyroll.
